A Letter From Our President & CEO

The semiconductor industry is ever changing and 2023 was no different as the supply chain normalized and the industry contracted from the record highs during the Covid bubble. We have been diligently working on newly engineered solutions to keep pace with the industry and prepare for continued growth as the industry recovers in 2024 and reaches new highs in 2025. In 2023 we released two new products to address the requests of our customers and the constantly evolving needs of the industry.

We were very excited to bring the VGT (vision-guided taper) product line to the market. It is our most flexible platform to date, designed and built around precision SCARA robots. The system allows for multiple input and output configurations as well as various test sites to be configured on a single platform. With a shaker table input and a vision system based on your needs, you can pick and place a wide range of parts (down to 0202) with little or no tooling costs. If you have a challenging application or are just looking for the latest technology to inspect, test, and package small parts, you should check this out!

Our other new offering is a tabletop rotary system, TM600, engineered to handle almost any part size that can be bowl-fed. This is a simplified design focused on reliability to meet production taping needs for semiconductors, metal stamped, or micro-molded parts. With a camera over the tape output and a single-screen HMI, it is easy for any operator to set up and run.

Our engineering team is working daily to develop solutions to meet customer-defined application requirements as well as our new products. Stay tuned in 2024 by following along on our social media accounts for the next round of announcements.

-Mitch Jacobs, President & CEO
