The robotic handlers can be configured with electrical test stations and high-resolution inspection stations for a full quality check of all parts before being placed into the final output package. Output options include carrier tape, trays, waffle packs, gel packs, and tubes. Parts that do not pass electrical tests or inspection can be placed in any number of outputs for scrap or further analysis. V-TEK’s robotic handler solutions are ideal for high-mix, low-volume operations where consistent quality is the most critical consideration.

Our robotic solutions are built to order and customized for a wide variety of application capabilities. The handler is based on a Scara robot that is capable of handling parts down to 0202 and is ideal for inspecting, testing, and packaging parts that have been traditionally done manually. Utilizing a shaker table input eliminates the need for expensive, part-specific tooling and allows for quick changeover from job to job. Other optional inputs include carrier tape, trays, tubes, and even diced substrates on film frames and/or hoop rings.
